 Get started

To get started with Data Integration, we suggest the following path:

• Access Data Integration (see below)
• Take a quick tour of Data Integration
• Review the generic Data Integration workflow
• Learn about the details of the agents you plan to use

• Start using the workflow with reference to your agents

    Note:  The Data Integration workflow differs slightly depending on your chosen agents. At one or two points in the workflow you will need to reference the steps specific to your agents.

Access to Data Integration

To use Data Integration you must run it from within Prophix.

Prerequisites: To run Data Integration, in Prophix you need to be assigned at minimum the Advanced User role.

To open a Data Integration session

1. Sign in to Prophix.
2. Open Process Manager.

3. In Process Manager, click the Data Integration icon (located at top right):

   

   A new browser tab opens and Data Integration is launched in it.

  Note:  Data Integration sessions are automatically signed-out after six hours.
