Local File agent
A local file agent can be used as a source, and can serve as a destination for:
- AWS S3 Buckets
- SFTP
- Local File
About the "Working Directory"
Every site has a Working Directory, which serves as the root directory for all files and folders belonging to the site. The name of the directory is always the site's GUID.
Example: C:\Program Files\Prophix\DataIntegration\ProphixTemp\7542a4f7-23cc-47be-939f-b85375305e2c
Note: To use the working directory, you must set up the connection for the Local File agent.
Files in the working directory are named on either the source or destination side.
For an Excel or Text connection, any file you specify in File name will be stored in the Working Directory. If you want to store the file in a different location, you must specify a network path:
Example: //testing/abc/text.txt
The following are not allowed in file names or paths:
- Drive letters (for example: C:, D:)
- Path placeholders (for example: %TEMP%)
- Move Up (..)
